Kaleb and Bella Morris are the owners of Cowboy Apothecary, a family-rooted brand built on natural healing, intentional living, and time-honored remedies.

Cowboy Apothecary was originally founded by Kaleb’s sister Kameesha Kiefer during her first pregnancy. While navigating the physical challenges of pregnancy—restless leg syndrome, aches, pains, and overall discomfort—her midwife introduced her to the powerful benefits of magnesium lotion. The relief it provided sparked a deeper curiosity about holistic wellness and natural alternatives to modern, chemical-heavy products.

What began as a personal need quickly evolved into extensive research and a passion for age-old remedies that have largely been forgotten. Through this journey, she discovered the deeply nourishing properties of grass-fed beef tallow, an ingredient used for centuries to support and protect the skin. Committed to purity and quality, she partnered with local grass-fed ranchers to render her own tallow, free from added chemicals, harsh bleaching, or deodorizing processes. From this dedication, Cowboy Apothecary was born.

When Kaleb and Bella stepped into ownership of Cowboy Apothecary, the transition was both natural and deeply personal. Bella had experienced firsthand the impact of these products long before becoming an owner. During her college years, she struggled with skin that reacted negatively to nearly every conventional skincare product she tried. Turning to natural alternatives out of necessity, she found lasting relief through Cowboy Apothecary’s Whipped Tallow.
